Zainal Zol’s corporate experience spans over 25 years in the areas of Accounting, Corporate Finance, financial feasibility studies, due-diligence, financial analysis, debt restructuring, fund raising and investment; recently as the Head of Property Investment of an investment arm of a government agency, where his role was to drive the property investment performance of the company which held property investment portfolio domestic and abroad.

Graduated in Economics Accounting from the University of Malaya in 1975, Master of Science in Industrial
Administration from the Aston Business School in Birmingham in 1977, Pursued and completed a Professional Diploma in Accounting at University of Malaya in 1979, Awarded a fellowship by the Bank of Tokyo to Pursue a Diploma in International Taxation at the Harvard Law School in 1979 and was awarded a diploma in 1980. Awarded a fellowship by the Commenwealth University Association in 1988 to pursue a PhD program at University College London , the University of London and was awarded a degree in 1990. 

Started as a tutor in Accounting at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, appointed as lecturer in 1979, Head of Department in 1981, Deputy Dean in 1984 and Dean of the Business School at UKM in 1986 to 1988. He was appointed aa a Professor in Taxation and Accounting in 1994.

He spent his first sabbatical leave as General Manager of Compuform Sdn Bhd and as Consultant at Brunei Shell Petroleum in Seria. In 1983 – 1984. He was appointed Vice President of Abrar International Group of Companies between 1994 – 1996. He was President of Telekom Advanced System in Silicon Valley, California in 1997, President of Eletel Corporation in 1998, President of Facit Group of Company, Sweden in 1999. He retired from UKM in the year 2000 and have been teaching part time at UKM, UTM, UM, UTAR, UNITAR, UNIRAZAK, MEDIU , UNISEL, MUST, CUCSM and BINARY University until now as retirement hobby.

Prof Dr Mohar is the second generation of a family business with more than 25 years of entrepreneurial and managerial experience. Johari is responsible for sales, marketing, continuing education & international students office activities. He is also responsible for introducing the “Marketing-driven University” Initiative, the blueprint of Micro-credentials and becoming one of the key people of UNIRAZAK’s latest rebranding. Some of his notable achievements are the establishment of 7 regional centers and securing higher education scholarships for undergraduate and postgraduate courses under MARA.

Prior to taking this role, Johari was Dean of UNIRAZAK’s Graduate School of Business. and has provided leadership to staff by overseeing and coordinating their researches, publications, and consultations to be in line with the goals of the school and University. Johari has 20 years of management and entrepreneurial experience. Former consultant at Accenture Japan Ltd and later joined Itochu Corporation as General Manager. In Itochu , he managed   domestic   and   international sales/marketing and strategic planning including developing plans, establishing new business and implementing growth strategies within domestic and international environment. Through   that   global   scale   network   and   experiences,   being   skilful   at   sourcing   the   forefront technologies  and materializing new business matching based on that technologies collaborating with right partners.

He is the Managing Director for Midori Tech, organic microbial enzyme product formulated in Japan and produce in Malaysia for Sustainable farming. Hazem has over 16 years’ experience in senior management positions leading and turning around private and public companies in various sectors including Automotive, Power, Real Estate  and Telecommunication. He also has over 10 years of experience in the financial industry from his initial career as equity analyst with Deutsche Bank and Credit Lyonnias Security Asia a well as his role as financial advisor in Aminvestment Bank. 

His experience in leading companies coupled with a strong financial and sectoral analytical background are the key elements for his successes in delivering results for the companies he steered before. Presently, he is the Executive Chairman of Prinsip Pedoman Sdn Bhd (PPSB), his owned boutique advisory firm, where his role is to provide financial and corporate advisory to a multitude of companies in various sectors.

Beginning with Total Energies North America (formerly known as TotalFinaElf) in 1999 as a Business Analyst, Don has extensive experience in Oil and Gas, Oleochemicals and Logistics, with a strong passion in International Business. Since 2004, Don serves as a Director at Socship Company Sdn. Bhd., Malaysia’s oldest inde-pendent tank farm in Port Klang, serving the Oleochemicals industry. In 2008, he co-found-ed Washers Sdn. Bhd. currently the largest full service IsoTank depot in the country, the first to be recognised by the International Tank Container Organisation in South East Asia.

Don served various business councils over the years, among others the Malaysia National Council for Asia Paci˜c Economic Cooperation (MANCPEC), ASEAN Circle – Institute of Stra-tegic and International Studies Malaysia, Kansai Economic Federation (Kankeiren) Japan, Franchise Development Board of Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cooperative of Malaysia, ASEAN Business Advisory Council – Malaysia Chapter and Hong Kong Malaysia Business Council. Prior to Riyal Consulting, he was the Managing Director, Co-Founder of Symbient Corporation Sdn Bhd focusing on importing and supplying frozen Halal Buffalo meat from India and frozen Halal mutton from New Zealand and Australia. He was actively involved in the trading of crude ˜sh oil (rich in Omega3) from 2018 to 2020 where he was a Director at Muscat Ventures Sdn Bhd, a franchise for the Museum of Illusion of Croatia.
